Discovering
our own roots and making them alive is one of the most fascinating
activities in the world. In any small village, just a few km away
from our own cities, we can find a bit of ourselves. Encouraging our
students to learn a various stimulating way - by means of visiting
local history museums, medieval buildings - linked to the history
of many villages -, going to performances as audience or even acting
in some of them, certainly is one of the best ways of acting against
drop-out phenomena, but also of helping disabled students integrate
with the rest of the class. For all this reasons, even all the aspects
concerning every-day life, family life, clothes, diet, agriculture
tools, weapons used during violent wars will be important points to
be studied and also an ideal way of stimulating students` curiosity.
And thanks to new technologies, all the information gathered will
be translated in all the languages used in the partner countries and
spread in real time, becoming in this way common heritage.
